Use the Record GPS Tracks tool to record your route, speed, distance, and elevation while you walk, hike, run, bike, or do anything else outdoors. Note your screen must be switched on at all times to record tracks.
To record GPS tracks:
- Tap the Tools icon, then tap Record GPS Tracks.
- On the map, tap Start to begin recording.
- Your movements will be recorded when the app is open or when it is minimized to the background.
- Tap Stop at any time to stop recording tracks.
Saved tracks can be viewed on the map. For more detailed track information, tap the track to show its label, then tap the information icon.
On the Track screen, the distance, elevation change and time are displayed.
