Last Updated: Mar 23, 2017 03:26PM EDT

With the Map View open, tap the Map Features icon which is located at the bottom of the screen on the toolbar next to the wrench icon. Once open, tap the Import icon (shown below) to import features or attribute schema:

You can import from several sources including:

  • Existing Layers
  • From KML
  • From Shapefile (Pro subscribers only)
  • Import Schema

Manage Existing Layers
On a map, you can import existing map features from other maps. Tap features to select them and tap 'Apply' to import selected features to the current map.  Once map features are added, they become 'linked' to the map (see Layers for more information).

Import From KML
Import KML from recently used files, from iTunes File Sharing, from Dropbox, from a QR Code, or from the web.

Import From Shapefile (Pro Subscribers Only)
Import Shapefiles from recently used files, from iTunes File Sharing, from Dropbox, or from a QR Code.  Shapefiles must be in a ZIP folder with all relevant components (.shp, .shx, .dbf, .prj)

Import Schema
Import the map feature structure, default icons and attribute schema from a KML file without importing any of the data. Import attribute schema from recently used files, from iTunes File Sharing, from Dropbox, from a QR Code, or from the web.
